Video: Mass Innovation Night

Back in January we had the opportunity to present at IBM Waltham as part of Mass Innovation Night.  We just unearthed the Youtube video that Mass Inno posted of our presentation and thought we'd share it.

It's a quick 5 minute presentation describing the philosophy and methodology of GivingSomeThing.

How to: Get Free Shipping with GivingSomeThing

We are very excited about the chance for nonprofits to register with GivingSomeThing for FREE and create incredible Wishlists with their exact needs.

We are also excited about the fact the donors can pay the retail price of the goods and shipping WITHOUT any markup or fees charged by GivingSomeThing.  As a result, donors pay the exact price they would pay if shopping personally on Amazon.

Finally, we are happy to share that if you are an Amazon Prime member your donation may even qualify for FREE Shipping.  And, in many cases, even if you are not an Amazon Prime member, your donation may qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping.

These are three great reasons to use GivingSomeThing to send real goods to your favorite nonprofits.

Happy Donating!

Thank you, Albatross

Having spent several months working with Albatross Digital to conceptualize, design, and create GivingSomeThing, we wanted to publicly thank them for their work.  The process of building a unique and complicated service,  yet deliver it in a simple and easy interface is no small task.  Albatross Digital has been a terrific team to work with as they put a tremendous amount of energy and passion into their work, listened to our needs and expectations, and successfully delivered at a level beyond their commitment.

Many thanks are owed to Shawn, Alex, Jeff, and Kevin for their work ethic and quality of work.  We wish them the best of luck as they continue to make visions a reality and we are glad that they can share in the unique ability for supporters to send real goods to nonprofits through GivingSomeThing and our Nonprofit Wishlists.

To Give is to Receive,

Give the Gift of Giving

We have the perfect gift for the Holidays!

Are you pondering what you should give to your friends, family, or coworkers this year?

Are you looking for "the perfect gift"?

Are you at a bit of a loss because it seems that those in your life have few true needs?

GivingSomeThing on behalf of your friends and family IS the perfect gift!

It is simple, easy, and meaningful to give to charity on someone's behalf with GivingSomeThing Wishlists.  Nonprofits will receive goods essential to their mission and your loved ones will know exactly how those nonprofits benefited.

There are three steps:

1.  Explore Wishlists, select goods to give to our Nonprofit Partners, and checkout.

2.  Print our GivingSomeThing Holiday Card and fill it out for each of your friends or family members.
(Tip: When printing, do not "Scale to Fit").  You can also download a GivingSomeThing Card with the inside left blank.

3.  Then, give the gift of giving while offering the reminder that To Give is To Receive.

Meet Fred 2.0

We hope that you have enjoyed our first attempt at an Introduction to GivingSomeThing.

We spent the weekend developing our skills with Photoshop and Audition (Sound Editing) and are now working on an Updated Introduction video.

While that will be done soon, you can meet Fred 2.0 right now!
